Former Vice President, Atiku Abubakar's wife. Titilayo Abubakar has revealed how her business partner who is also a pastor defrauded her of N918 million because she trusted him. While testifying at the Lagos state High Court in Ikeja, Mrs Titilayo narrated how Pastor Nsikakabasi Akpan-Jacobs and two other people duped her.  According to her, Pastor Akpan-Jacobs sold a property belonging to their company, THA Shipping MAritime Services Ltd to Dana Motors Nigeria. She also revealed that she was the highest shareholder of the company with 49% shares while Pastor Akpan-Jacobs and their other partner, Mr Fred Holmes each had 25%shares.    She accused Pastor Akpan-Jacobs of going to the Corporate Affairs Commission where he altered the share holding in his favour and forging the company’s board resolution. Customs officers have discovered yet another container filled with arms at the Tin Can Island Port in Lagos today May 23rd. According to reports, 440 pump action rifles were found in the container that was imported from Turkey. One suspect has been arrested while investigations is still ongoing. Recall that in January, Customs officers discovered 49 boxes containing 661 pieces of Pump Action Rifles inside a container at the Tin Can Island port.

A man resident in Port Harcourt, Rivers state killed his son yesterday, Saturday , in Port Harcourt. The man, identified simply as Inimgba allegedly hit 7yr old George Tamunoibuemie with a hard object, leading to his demise. A police source in Port Harcourt confirmed this.A female neighbor of the deceased said that Inimgba was not an attentive father and would abandon George, forcing him to fend for himself. The neighbor said only days before, on Thursday precisely, she bought a pencil for him to use at school only for her to hear he had been killed by his father. The Cape Verde native and tour guide cannot go a day without people stopping him in the streets for photographs. The father of five says his friends have nicknamed him Mr Obama and he has been mistaken for the real Obama for ten years. He said: 'Some people even ask me if I am his brother. I work as a tour guide so I am always meeting new people and their reaction is always the same. Nigerian activist, Nkemakonam Linda Ijeh has a cause to celebrate as her 22-year-old daughter graduated from the university on Saturday, May 20th. She had her daughter when she was only 15. Ms Nkemakonam, who was repeatedly abused since she was six years old and later gang-raped at her friend's house, now works to end child sexual abuse. " I was 30 years old before I finally started dealing with the psychological effect of my broken soul. Now I can stand tall and scream it loud that I am nothing but a survivor and not a victim. I never understood how much this affected the way I dealt with my day-to-day life. I am unbreakable and I lend my voice to create awareness of what has become a norm in Nigeria.
